My state is full of potheads...

So one unexpected result of the election last night was Michigan's Proposal 1. Proposal 1 was the legalization of medical marijuana. For those unfamiliar with the city I live in, the penalty for being caught with marijuana here is a $25 fine. That is the infamous Ann Arbor marijuana law you've all heard about.

So while I expected my county to vote for this amendment, I didn't expect the rest of the state to go along with it. I expected CNN's map to look like this:



Maybe some other areas would vote for it, making it closer to the prop 2 map:



Instead, we got this:



Thats right, every county in the state is for medical marijuana... I don't understand that one. I need to go back and check the votes from the other 12 states that have this law and see if it ever passed like that anywhere else.

Atleast they have to keep their smoking to private places. It stinks.
