xlockless is just a hacked up variant of xlock that doesn't bother to blank the screen. I use it in the computer lab to trick people into thinking I forgot to lock my screen. This program requires PAM.

The name comes from the more and less commands on UNIX and the current widely used xlock variant being known as xlockmore.
